I was happy to find the light I needed in stock here when a few other websites didn’t have it available. The checkout process was straightforward and didn’t give me any trouble, which I definitely appreciated. I’m giving it 4 stars because one of the color options was out of stock, but overall, it was still a good experience.

"Showed up cracked"
Not really sure what happened during shipping, but the shade was cracked when I opened the box. Kind of annoying because I was expecting to just set it up and use it.

"Instructions could’ve been clearer"
I ordered a light from maximlighting.com and overall it turned out fine, but the install instructions were basic. The diagrams helped a little, but a few steps felt like they were missing, especially around the wiring. I’m cautious with anything electrical, so I didn’t want to guess and risk doing something wrong. I ended up taking my time and figuring it out, but it definitely took longer than I expected. Not a bad experience, just wish the instructions were more detailed.

I don’t remember much about the order itself, but I do remember it taking way longer to show up than I expected. Kind of annoying, especially when you’re checking for it and it just keeps not arriving

Support did help me in the end, so I’ll give them credit for that. But the way they worded things made it sound like I’d get a quick response, and that definitely wasn’t the case. Replies were slow, which was frustrating when I was waiting around for an answer.

"Looked great online, but didn’t hold up"
I bought a Maxim light for my hallway because it looked really nice in the photos, and I was hoping it would help freshen up the space a bit. My sister had just redone her entryway with a similar style fixture, so I had that look in mind, but this one felt cheap once I had it in my hands.
The finish had a few small scratches, one of the pieces was slightly bent, and the screws didn’t line up the way they should have. What I thought would be a quick install ended up taking way longer than expected, which was frustrating.
After only a few weeks, the light started flickering too. For the price, I really expected better quality. It looked good at first glance, but I wouldn’t buy from them again.
"Nice warm light, close"
I ordered a fixture from Maxim Lighting and the light color is close to what I was hoping for. Nice. I wanted something warm without it looking super yellow, and it looks good in the room. Cozy. It might be just a tiny bit cooler than I expected based on the photos, but it still works totally fine. Shipping was okay too. Overall, I’m happy with it, just taking off one star because I wish the product pictures showed the actual light tone a little better.

"Refund is taking forever"
I’m still waiting on my refund, and it’s been kind of frustrating. The whole process feels messy, like I’m not sure who’s handling what, and then I check again and nothing has changed. I get that refunds can take a bit, but this just feels way longer than it should.

"Order was fine, just not that quick"
Ordering was easy, and like I said, I did get the confirmation email right away. The only thing was the processing took a little longer than I thought it would, so I ended up checking back a couple times for updates. Like I said, nothing actually went wrong and the order did go through, but the timing could’ve been a bit clearer. Overall, it was an okay experience, nothing amazing but not bad either.

I ordered a light from maximlighting.com, and I’ll give them credit where it’s due, the delivery updates were clear. I got an email when it shipped and another when it was out for delivery, so I wasn’t stuck guessing where the package was, which is more than I can say for some places. It arrived when they said it would. Basic stuff, but apparently that’s worth appreciating these days.

I was just browsing for new lights and wasn’t sure what I even wanted at first, but they had way more options than I expected. There were a bunch of different styles too, not just the same basic fixtures I kept seeing everywhere else.
It took me a little while to narrow things down, partly because I kept second-guessing myself, but I mean that in a good way. The site made it easy to compare finishes and sizes, so I eventually felt like I made a good choice.

I did eventually get a response from support, so I’ll give them that. But it took way too long, honestly. I kept waiting, checking back, waiting some more, and it just felt like nothing was happening. They answered in the end, but the slow response was frustrating, really frustrating.

I had a light with a broken glass shade and thought I was going to have to replace the whole thing. I checked maximlighting.com and found the replacement part quickly. Ordering it was simple, and it showed up without any hassle. Really glad they have parts like that available because it saved me some money and made it way easier.

"I’ve had this for a few months..."
I’ve had this for a few months now and it still feels really solid. The finish hasn’t chipped or worn down, which is nice. One of the screws felt a bit cheap, kind of unnecessary given how sturdy the rest of it is, but overall I’m happy with the durability.
